PM Imran Khan said No operation against shelters - stalls and small shops

Prime Minister Imran Khan on friday directed the anti-encroachment groups to not demolish shelters, small shops, and stalls in capital of Pakistan Islamabad, sources said on friday.

The prime minister directed this after sounding strong criticism from opposition benches and also the public. To dig out a solution of the problem, a committee has been established.

Interior Minister Shehryar Khan Afridi are going to be the head of the committee. The committee can review CDA policy and will provide recommendations beneath the sunshine of Imran Khan’s directions.

The committee will also formulate government police beneath the order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

It's pertinent to say that the prime minister has directed all departments to launch operations against encroachment within the city. However, after strong criticism against demolishing shelters and setups of the labour community.
